Education — Lampworking

Village Glass offers classes in soft and hard glass work over the torch. Both beginning and intermediate beadmaking classes are available every semester and borosilicate classes may be arranged as individual sessions by contacting Village Glass by email or by calling 573-443-0393.

In addition, we carry tools, books and supplies for lampworkers as well as finished work for sale. Bracelets, necklaces, pendants, bookmarks, paperweights and ornaments by several local lampworkers are available as well as loose beads by Sarah Friskey.

We are associated with Mid-MO Lampworkers and help to sponsor special events involving visiting lampworkers. We also host “Bead Jams,” during which local glass artists get together to share techniques and information as well as food and fun.
